Awards, Activities, and Honors

Dr. Pestle has served in numerous capacities of leadership in his community, in his professional organizations, and his church.

Baseball has been a passion, and he demonstrated that interest by serving on various boards for youth baseball.  Among them are Armstrong Park Baseball, Baseball Unification Board of Greater Lafayette, and Pony Baseball-Wrigley Field-Lafayette.

He has served as Treasurer, Vice-President, President-elect, and President of the West Central Dental Society, in addition to also serving on the Board of Directors, and as Peer-Review Chairman.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Osseointegration, Indiana Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontists, and the International College of Dentists.

Dr. Pestle has served as State Vice-President, President-elect, and President of the American College of Dentists-Indiana Section.

He has served on numerous educational boards at Lafayette Christian School, and was Board Vice-President and President.

He is presently a member of the Church Council at Evangelical Covenant Church, and serving as Vice-Chairman.  His past capacities have included Chairman of the Deaconate Board, and Chairman of the Church.  Present interests include serving as a Small Group Leader's coach, and teaching Sunday School.
